To create a new page in your web site, you should navigate to the Site Tree and right click the heading that you would like to create a page under.

You will be presented with the context menu, of which an example is shown below.

 

Click the Add New Page option and a new Properties page will appear on the right hand frame of the browser.

 

The following items should be filled in for the new page.

·      Page Name: Page name as you would like it to appear in the menu.

·      Content Type: This choice will define the basic content of the page i.e. Text, Calendar, Contacts etc.

·      Layout Design:  Here you can choose the layout to use for the page.  These layouts can be custom designed for the website that you are currently working on.

·      Design Template to use:  This will contain the design template to use for the site.  This should contain all the styling and overall layout of each page.

Once these items have been defined click “Save and Check Out” and the new page will be created and automatically checked out of the repository, ready for its properties to be defined and content to be added.  This is covered in “”Edit a page”.
