WHEN ARE INVOICES ISSUED?

Invoices are issued from King’s College London once courses have begun.

I HAVE A LIST OF PASSWORDS – WHAT ARE THEY FOR?

When you have been accepted onto a course and completed enrolment formalities, you are then issued with a college e-mail address and access to a range of electronic resources including myKCL (your electronic personal student information), the KCL library catalogue and Athens. Your list of passwords will enable you to access these resources and must be kept secret as per college regulations and terms and conditions of third party services.

WHAT IS MY CANDIDATE NUMBER?

Following enrolment you will be allocated a Candidate Number so that your work may be worked anonymously. This should not be confused with your KCL Student Identification number. Submitted work will not be accepted without a candidate number and an incorrect candidate work on submitted work or examination paper, will automatically lead to a fail. This is the only personal information entered onto an assignment or examination paper. This number will be changed annually.

HOW DO I FIND MY CANDIDATE NUMBER?

Following enrolment you will receive an email on your KCL email address within the first few weeks of the course to notify you when your candidate number is available on myKCL. MyKCL is an important electronic portal that allows you to access and manage your personal information. To access myKCL you will need your email username and password. The link can be found on the Kings College London School of Nursing & Midwifery Virtual Campus and you can login from anywhere in the world via a normal web browser.

HOW CAN I GET MY RESULTS?

Results will be posted on notice boards in the Franklin-Wilkins bldg, Waterloo Campus, King’s College London and on myKCL webpage on the Monday following each Programme Examination Board. In case of a failure a letter is sent out by KCL advising of any resubmission dates if they are available.

A summary of results will be sent to all students each October (this is called a Student Profile) but students can also request one at any time of these by emailing: Fnsnm-assessenq@kcl.ac.uk.

I FEEL I WON’T BE READY TO SUBMIT ON TIME, HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING AN EXTENSION?

Please contact your course leader at the earliest opportunity to discuss your situation and refer to your programme handbook or access the Kings College London School of Nursing & Midwifery Virtual Campus webpage and navigate to the Mitigating Circumstances section.
