This one day course offers genetic education for developing knowledge and skills of the advanced practitioner in the field of GI Nursing. It considers basic molecular science, environmental influences and pharmacogenetics as well as exploring specialist skills within clinical practice. This study day will of particular interest to nurse specialists working within the fields of cancer, stoma care and IBD but is open to all nurses working with the speciality of gastrointestinal nursing.
